
| Catholic Cemeteries Policy Regarding Cemetery Decorations Effective: July 1, 2002 |

| To better serve the families and friends of Catholic Cemeteries, we have simplified and reformatted our Mausoleum decoration policy. We hope you will find this format more user friendly and much simpler to understand. | Grave and Memorial Decorations One decoration per grave is allowed. Metal stands; boxes; decorative pots and vases; shepherds' hooks; glass containers; and candles of any kind are not permitted. Cut Flowers Cut flowers are allowed at anytime in non-glass containers. Flowers will be removed when they become unsightly. Plastic Decorations and Artificial Flowers Plastic decorations and artificial flowers are permitted during the winter season only (October 15th to March 1st). Potted Plants Potted plants are allowed at anytime during the growing season (April 1st to October 15th). Containers and plants will be removed when they become unsightly. Winter Wreaths and Grave Blankets Winter wreaths and grave blankets may be placed after November 15th. All decorations remaining after March 1st will be removed by cemetery personnel. Individual Plantings The planting of shrubs or trees must be done by cemetery personnel and only on sites where allowed. Flower planting is allowed in front of upright monuments only. Planting of any type is not allowed around or in front of flush or beveled markers. Families may contact the cemetery office regarding the purchase of memorial trees. Flags American flags are permitted only on graves during Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day. They will be removed 3 days after the holiday. Cemetery Cleanup A general cleanup of all Catholic cemeteries is performed 2 times a year. Cleanup dates are subject to weather conditions, but target dates will be published accordingly. Target Cleanup dates are: Spring — on or about March 1st Fall — on or about October 15th Post-holiday cleanups will take place 14 days following the holiday. All personal decorations that the family wishes to retain should be removed prior to scheduled clean-up dates. All Funeral flowers will be removed three days after the funeral. |

| The cemetery reserves the right to remove all decorations as soon as they become unsightly or create a safety hazard. The cemetery cannot be liable for lost, misplaced or damaged decorations or containers. This policy supercedes all other policies issued by Catholic Cemeteries and is being implemented on a go-forward basis. Those covered under previous policies will be grandfathered under their respective policy. March 29, 2007 |
